My instinct is to
build something better.

I've always had a natural instinct to look at something, my life, my body, a business, an idea, and ask how I can build it better.

I don't stay within the confines of other people's thinking or rules about what's possible. I believe in abundance, and when I build, I operate from possibility rather than limitation.

I take fear as a challenge to grow, not to limit my potential. I take other people's doubts of me as motivation, not a roadmap. And when I discover limitations I've placed on myself, I look for a way to overcome them. That mindset has shaped my life. I've built businesses, built my body to the level of a professional athlete, rebuilt after setbacks, changed direction when something no longer served me, and continued building as I've changed and grown.

For nearly 20 years, I've helped other men do the same. Many originally came to me to build their bodies, but the coaching rarely stayed there. We built confidence, relationships, businesses, careers, purpose and identity, and worked toward building the life they actually wanted.

That's ultimately what Build with Miguel is about.

Not becoming someone somebody else thinks you should be. Not accepting fear, circumstances, age, expectations, or even your own thinking as the final word on what's possible. It's about taking an honest look at where you are, deciding what you want, and building from there.

That's how I've lived my life. It's how I coach men to approach theirs.

BUILD WITH MIGUEL FRAMEWORK

THE SIX DIMENSIONS
OF MEN'S HEALTH

Success in one area doesn’t compensate for neglect in another. A man can be physically strong and professionally successful while his relationships, finances, mental health or sense of purpose are quietly working against him.

These six dimensions work together. Strength across them gives a man the capacity to perform, adapt, compete and remain relevant as his life and the world around him change.

MENTAL

Clear thinking. Emotional control. Sound decisions under pressure. Discipline over the mind. The ability to adapt without losing yourself.

PHYSICAL

The strength, energy and physical capacity to keep doing what you want to do, not simply what your body still allows.

SOCIAL

Relationships and social intelligence that create connection, opportunity, support and influence rather than isolation.

PROFESSIONAL

Skills, judgment and value that continue to make you relevant as industries, technology and opportunities change.

FINANCIAL

Resources and financial control that create options, reduce dependence and allow you to make decisions from a position of strength.

SPIRITUAL

A reconnection to a clearer sense of meaning, values and purpose that keeps achievement connected to something worth building toward.

Being healthy creates capacity. Capacity allows you to compete. And the ability to keep adapting, contributing and competing is what keeps a man relevant.

Perfection isn’t achieving some fixed ideal. Life keeps changing, and a healthy man keeps growing with it. Perfection is to be healthy enough to keep building so none of these dimensions becomes the weakness that limits everything else.

For nearly 20 years, I’ve coached men across many of these same areas, and I’ve lived them myself.

That’s why I don’t coach one part of a man. I coach the whole man.
